Our One Year Anniversary!

Our first recipe was posted one year ago, today. It’s hard to believe a whole year and 268 posts have gone by already! Kitty and I have had a wonderful time sharing our recipes and cooking experiences with you, and we have also enjoyed hearing from some of our followers.

We especially enjoy sharing recipes, stories and facts from our country, Guatemala. We think that our local gastronomy has been underrated, mostly because it hasn’t been publicized enough. For that reason, it has been shadowed by other more popular (and also wonderful) Latin American gastronomies. We hope we can contribute, even if it is in a small way, to let other cultures know about Guatemalan Cuisine.

Through cooking and blogging, we have connected with people from all over the world and we hope that with your help our foodie circle continues to grow!

You only get better with practice, so our goal this year is to share better, interesting and different recipes that you will want to try at home to share with your family and friends.
