Miso Garlic Chicken

Miso a fermented soy product that is used in Japanese cuisine and gives recipes a delicious umami flavor. We used white miso for our recipe and served this very to make baked chicken with grilled bok choy and white rice.
It will be on repeat for our weekly menu rotation!

Miso Garlic Chicken
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 green onions, sliced
4 tbsp white miso paste
4 tbsp rice vinegar
1 ½ tbsp honey
1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
green onions, for garnish
cilantro, for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line the baking tray with parchment or foil paper for easy clean up.
- Combine marinade ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well and add the chicken.
Massage the chicken well with the miso sauce. - Bake for 30-35 minutes flipping halfway. Broil for 2 minutes to get a nice crust and color. The internal temperature of the meat should be 165 degrees.
