Happy Hour: Mexican Mule

This post is also available in / Esta entrada también está disponible en ESPAÑOL (SPANISH)

This is a variation of the Moscow Mule, which is prepared with vodka. To prepare the Mexican Mule we used Tequila Volcán de Mi Tierra Blanco which has herbal, citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit on the palate as well as cherry and sweet agave.

Tequila Mule

This tequila additives free and because of its excellent quality it can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or as an ingredient for cocktails like this one. The combination of fresh ginger with lemon juice and a touch of sweet syrup results in a very refreshing and tasty drink. It is traditionally served in copper glasses, but you can easily prepare this cocktail in a tall glass.

Volcan de mi Tierra

We recommend using ginger beer, which should not be confused with ginger ale. We really like the Fever Tree brand because of its natural ginger flavor and you can find Volcán de Mi Tierra Tequila in Vinoteca stores as well as Volcan de Mi Tierra Blanco Tequila.
