A homemade pizza is a good idea for rainy days when we want to stay home watching movies or having a cozy time with friends. For us, a good sauce is what makes pizza turn out delicious, in addition to the toppings that can be added, if the sauce is good you just need cheese and some spices to make a great slice.

Quick Homemade Pizza

Here we are sharing the recipe for a basic marinara sauce for pizza. Optional ingredients such as dried basil, oregano, and chili flakes can be added to the basic recipe to your liking. The important thing is to use a natural tomato base, we used 500 grams of strained tomatoes.

You can also use a pizza base from the supermarket to focus only on the sauce and toppings, or use our easy pizza dough that you can find here:

For our sauce, we used Mondu spices: onion powder, granulated garlic and black pepper. We really like using these spices because they are totally natural, free of preservatives and are gluten free for those who check this label in their ingredients.
