Happy Hour: Tommy’s Margarita
This post is also available in / Esta entrada también está disponible en ESPAÑOL (SPANISH)
This cocktail was born around 1,990, and is considered a new-age cocktail. Now we can find it in bars around the world. It is a variation of the Margarita, with only 3 ingredients, you can add a little orange liqueur or a few drops of orange bitters to give it different flavor notes, but here we teach you how to make the basic recipe, which is very refreshing.
We used agave syrup and Don Julio Blanco Tequila, which is ideal for mixing cocktails with its citrus and herbal notes. Agave nectar has a unique flavor, it is extracted from the agave plant and its flavor is sweeter than sugar, but more neutral than honey. Of course, you can prepare a simple syrup with white sugar to prepare this cocktail, but we recommend that, if you have agave nectar available at home, use it.
You can find Don Julio Blanco Tequila in Vinoteca stores.
