Happy Hour: Gold Rush

When we think of bourbon, we’re used to thinking of it as something we drink in cool weather like fall or the holiday months. The spicy notes remind us of that time. But this cocktail, Gold Rush, combines Bulleit bourbon, honey syrup, and lemon juice and can be enjoyed all year round, it is refreshing and easy to drink!
The sugar can be white, light brown, or dark brown, or as in this case, instead of sugar, we use equal parts of water and honey. Each variation delivers a different touch of sweetness and color. If lemons aren’t available in your area, sometimes we can find them hard to find in Guatemala, you can use lime juice.
We would love for you to tell us if you try this recipe!
You can find Bulleit bourbon in Vinoteca stores, remember that you can take advantage of the home delivery service by buying at their online store!
