Happy Hour: French 75

This post is also available in / Esta entrada también está disponible en ESPAÑOL (SPANISH)

A true classic, the French 75 has its origins in the 1920s. It combines white sparkling wine, preferably a brut or extra brut, with gin, lime juice, and simple syrup. It is a sophisticated cocktail that we recommend you consider for your next celebration. Gin lovers will really enjoy it!

Happy Hour: French 75

To prepare it, you need a cocktail shaker to mix the ingredients, except the sparkling wine, along with ice to serve in champagne glasses to be topped up with the sparkling wine. One of our favorites for this type of cocktail is Chandon Extra Brut, which can be found in Vinoteca stores. The notes of this sparkling wine are delicious, citrusy, peachy, and slightly floral. You really have to try it!
