Christmas Peppermint Patties

Are you looking for a home-made goodie for your next gathering or to include in your Christmas stockings? These Christmas Peppermint Patties are a great option, and what we love the most is that it’s different from the traditional cookie route. Adding some of these peppermint patties into a small mason jar dressed up with a bow makes a great gift for the holiday season. You can also serve them after Christmas dinner!
They are easy and quick to make. The recipe uses 4 cups of confectioners’ sugar, the first 3 while you’re preparing the mix, and you use the last one to knead it in. Then, the mix is ready to use. When kneading, remember to use some confectioners’ sugar on your hands so the mix won’t stick to them.
We used classic christmas colors, but you can make them using your favorite ones. We loved the idea of making them in red, green, but leaving the last third in white. The color combo make these peppermint patties a delicious and elegant gift!
At Almacenes Siman we found different christmas goodies to serve our mints. First, a set of red plates (normally used as base for the dinner plate), a set of Santa Claus mugs and a white serving dish, where we display the mints.
