Foodies Freebie: July 2016 Wallpaper Collection

Even tough our rainy season is here, the heat is far from gone. So, with this heat, you need to keep hydrated and the Watermelon is the perfect fruit: you can get hydration and a bit of sweetness. And as it turns out, the watermelon is more than just water and sugar, it happens to be an incredibly healthy fruit, as it has great levels of vitamins A, B6 and C.
Vitamin A, best for eye health and boosts immunity. B6 produces antibodies, helps maintain normal nerve function and form red blood cells. And vitamin C helps your immune system’s defenses against infections and viruses. Additional to all that it’s also a source of potassium, a mineral necessary for water balance (think avoiding cramps).
The best way to have it is as a smoothie (a recipe from our early days) or in a much more sophisticated salad.
