Chocolate and Cheddar Popcorn Bark

This bark is made with melted chocolate, it must be semi-sweet, and it is combined with white cheddar popcorn, an unusual combination, but believe us… it’s delicious!
It’s the perfect combination of sweet and salty. We used semi-sweet baking chocolate which must be melted over a double boiler to avoid burning it. After spreading it on a tray covered with parchment paper, put as much popcorn as you can to cover the chocolate.
We used Naú white cheddar popcorn, as well as mini marshmallows, additional pieces of semi-dark chocolate to decorate and with the leftover melted chocolate to drizzle as decoration. Then all you need is for the chocolate to become solid, either in the refrigerator or freezer, cut into pieces and it’s ready to enjoy!

Chocolate & Cheddar Popcorn Bark
Makes: 2-4 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup Naú White Cheddar Popcorn
½ cup small white marshmallows
¾ pound semi-dark baking chocolate, broken into pieces
1 small bar 1.5 oz semi-dark chocolate, chopped to garnish
Directions:
- On a baking tray, place parchment paper to cover the bottom.
- In a bain-marie, melt the chocolate and pour it onto the prepared tray, spreading it so that there is a not-so-thin layer. You will not cover the entire bottom of the tray; this is just so you have a base. Reserve a little of the melted chocolate, a tablespoon or two, for the final decoration.
- Evenly cover the chocolate with the popcorn and marshmallows. Continue with the chopped chocolate bar, adding pieces to taste. Drizzle with thin lines of melted chocolate as a final decoration.
- Let it harden by placing it in the freezer or refrigerator. When it is solid, break it into pieces using a sharp knife and serve.
